                      Frank Lampard's Verdict        Chelsea started the post Sarri and the beginning of Frank Lampard's era with very good pre-season performance, as they won four, drew two, and lost only one of their seven matches throughout their outings.       Those matches however, served as testing of best legs for those players to ascertain the ones worthy of starting places as the season unfolds, but the 4-0 opening fixture defeat  against Manchester United was a direct opposite to that expectation. Now the season has ended as Chelsea finished in the forth position on the table, which is enough to secure Champions League football next season, if Chelsea really want to be a strong title challenger next season, they have to get a solid goalkeeper and a defender to consolidate the efforts of the regular players who just ended the season and the new signings.
