The "unbelievable" Liverpool

After the first leg of the UEFA Champions League at the Camp Nou, a lot of people never gave Liverpool chance of progressing ahead of FC Barcelona.
When reports came out that prolific players like Muhammad Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Naby Keita will not be available for Liverpool in the second leg at Anfield, it became a unanimous scepticism that Liverpool were never going to come back in the competition.
Against all odds, Liverpool had the faith and kept faith that they could come back and defeat Barcelona of all people to qualify for the final of the Champions League.
From the outset of the game, Liverpool were quite focus on their tactics against Barcelona, which is to quickly unsettle Barcelona and get the early goals, which will spur them and devastate Barcelona.

Jurgen Klopp showed a masterclass of confidence when he gambled in terms of substituting a defender in Robertson for Wijnaldum, which made it just three defenders at the back, meaning he decided to make the midfield compact and attack with full force to break Barcelona down. It really worked as planned, when Wijnaldum came on at the 46th minute and scored a brace in two minutes, between 54th to 56th minute in the second half and putting Liverpool 3-0 up against Barcelona, who has little or no response to get a goal or two to be back on top.

Divock Origi probably had his greatest night on the pitch when he also scored a brace with only two attempts on goal to seal the qualification for Liverpool to the Champions League final.

Liverpool right now are on the league of their own and I don't think Tottenham Hotspur can stop them from lifting the Champions League trophy in Madrid.
The truth has to be admitted, Liverpool deserved to be in the final. No wonder the triumph of Liverpool against FC Barcelona went on to spur Tottenham Hotspur to beat Ajax in the second semi final, which rubbed off Chelsea and Arsenal to create a record of all London final in the UEFA Europa League in Baku, Azerbaijan.
